Black Gum Print Shop Update

I’m learning a lot and my printing is improving, and along with that comes a streamlining of my shop. There’s a set of white-on-black patches I’ve been selling for about five years — the pronoun patches, “femme,” “believe survivors,” “out of spoons,” Enya, and Twin Peaks patches. All of these are printed with a 5-year-old, tiny, crappy Speedball screen (though it has undoubtedly served me well, surviving thousands of prints).

A patch I made when I truly had no idea what I was doing, but that people purchased anyway.

I will always offer the pronoun patches -- as far as I’m aware, they’re the cheapest ones on Etsy, and the “they/them” patch in particular is my best-selling item of all time (by far!). I’ve printed them for people all over the world, for entire soccer teams, and for folks who’ve told me they used the patches to come out to their parents. I’m proud of that! The rest of these patches will be going away soon, though, and making room for new items. If you’ve always wanted to cop one, now is your chance. When current stock runs out, that’s it.

I recently listed these two-color Enya prints, which are almost sold out. I’m going to be listing a lot of new posters/prints, both letterpressed and screenprinted, and also overhauling the zines I currently offer and offering some new ones. A new, updated version of the Winter zine (another perennial bestseller — somehow?!) is ready for printing and will be available soon. New pins and patches are in the works, as well as (for the first time, really) shirts! So stoked about this development. Stay tuned for all these new changes to be implemented (over the next month or so), and thanks for supporting my little print shop for these past few years.
